The Cutervo National Park is the first National Park in Peru, created in the 08 September 1961. Its existence was a crucial precedent for the creation of the current National System of Protected Natural Areas by the Peruvian State (SINANPE). His extension is 2500 hectares, located on the Cordillera de los Andes Western jar of Peru, Cutervo-Cajamarca, with altitudes ranging between 2200 and 3500 masl.
